Register

To register, send a mail to register@workflow-vcs.de. You get a response which describes how you can submit workflows.

How to add a Workflow

You send a mail containg a link to a workflow. (Unshortend links only) As soon as the mail is received the workflow will be indexed and added to the database. You get a confirmation with all the versions of the workflow. The workflows are identified by name. So if you change the name you get a new history. Version marks like (v3) at the end of the workflowname are ignored.

How can I add description to a Workflow

You can add a description by adding an Exit Workflow at the end of the Workflow and after it a Textblock. The content of the Textblock will then appear as description. You can use markup language, but no html.

How do I get an overview of my workflows

You can get the latest version of each workflow by sending a mail to the special mail address assigned to you and the subject: Workflows. This will give you an overview of all the latest versions of your submitted workflows. Or you can access them using the RSS url provided to you by mail.

Can I have a previous version?

Of course you can. By sending a mail to the special mail address assigned to you and the subject: Workflow: Workflowname but without a link to a workflow. This will give you a list of all the workflows with the specific name. Or you can access them using the RSS url provided to you by mail.

How can I publish my workflow

Great, share what you have created: After you're registered send the workflow link in a mail to public@workflow-vcs.de. It will then be published on the website and the public rss feed. And you get a response mail to inform you everything was correct.

How can I easily access my or the public workflows?

You may want to use WORKFLOW itself! The workflow you are looking for is here: Click here to install.

Can I add additional mail addresses?

You can send a mail to your assigned email address with the subject add: someoneelse@somthing.org.

Can I remove additional mail addresses?

You can send a mail to your assigned email address with the subject remove: someoneelse@somthing.org.

Powerful automation made simple.

Workflow is a real nice tool for iOS which allows creating actions to automate a lot of things you do every day. E.g. I used it to send my estimated time of arrival to my wife so she knows when I will be at home.

You can get the app in the Apple Appstore.

I'm not related to neither Apple nor Workflow.

This website was created due to a lack of a search for workflows. It is actively developed at the moment, and includes an automatic twitter/reddit crawler for new workflows.

The search includes text elements within the workflow even if they are not shown in the workflow view at the moment.
